San Diego is a really big city with many attractions for those visiting. It is difficult to cover them all with just one visit, therefore a selection is more than welcomed. Here are top 3 things to see and the 3 top things to do while you visit San Diego. Which of them is your favorite?

Three top places to see
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
This safari park is really large as it covers 1800 acres of land. Clearly the park is not in the city per se, but it is easy to access and it makes a perfect destination if you go to San Diego with the whole family.

Point Loma Lighthouse, Cabrillo National Monument
Point Loma offers a panoramic view of San Diego downtown, including the Naval Air Station, the distant mountains, and the Coronado Bridge. The lighthouse is near by, therefore go see them both in a single trip.

Old Town
This area is filled with buildings and icons of the Spanish heritage of San Diego. All of them are well preserved and awaiting history and architecture lovers.

Three top things to do
Practice water sports
There are many beaches in San Diego, and many water related activities can be enjoyed on most of them. They include swimming, scuba diving, sailing, boating, and more. Hopefully you’re not afraid of getting drowned.

Hang gliding
San Diego is also rich in cliffs, and Torrey Pines Glider Port in La Jolla offers the best spot for this extreme sport. If you don’t know the first thing about this sport, don’t be shy and enrol in the training lessons.

Shopping
Who doesn’t like to shop? San Diego has 4 well known shopping centers, but of course they are not the only places to go to for this activity. In any case, check them out at Horton Plaza, Fashion Valley, Westfield UTC, and Westfield Mission Valley.
