Tampa is a beautiful city in Florida, in the Gulf of Mexico. The city has a humid subtropical climate, making the city a good destination for tourists. The winters are very mild, but snow does occasionally occur, therefore it is perfect for those who never saw snow. Lets see what other things does the city have to offer.

Tampa Museum of Art
The museum is located in downtown Tampa. You have a very solid reason to go visit on fridays and that is the free admission. This is the new museum.

Florida Aquarium
The aquarium is close to the downtown Tampa, on the east side. The place serves as a restaurant, as a playground for kids, and a gift shop. One of its best attractions is the touch tank and the dive experiences.

Davis Islands and Harbour Island
These islands have beautiful waterfronts, historic houses that are well worth seeing. The islands also offer a lot of  dining and nightlife possibilities that all tourists must check out.

Walking tour of Ybor City
This is a historic walk that happens every Saturday starting at 10.30 AM. The tour will cover historic cottages, businesses, and museums. Usually the tour ends at the Columbia Restaurant that is 100 years old.

Ice skating
This is a favorite pastime in Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay Skating Academy, Sunblades Center, and the Westfield Countryside Mall, are the 3 locations where locals go to skate. The academy has 2 NHL-sized ice surfaces for ice skating lovers.

Play golf
Tampa is rick is gold courses, but maybe one that you should really consider is the one at Picnic Island State Park. The location has a dog beach, a playground, and human-only beautiful beaches. Admittance and parking are free.
