Aruba is an island found in the Southern Caribbean Sea. As a curiosity, despite its location, the island is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and its inhabitants are Dutch. The island has 2 main regions: the Southeastern Coast and the Northern Coast, however nice things to see or do are to be found in both regions.

Top 3 places to see
Bushiribban Gold Mill / Smelting Station
Here are the ruins of the smelting station. The place offers great viewing of the coastline. Seeing the place and taking pictures here make for a fantastic experience.

Boca Catalina and the Antilla Shipwreck
If you join a snorkeling tour you will be certain to visit these two locations. The Antilla Shipwreck is the site where a German cargo was sunk by its captain because he didn’t want to surrender it. Now the locals are joking about the incident.

Archaeological Museum
A vacation is a good time to learn some history. See ceramic, shell, and stone artifacts, dating back to the first people occupying the island.

Top 3 things to do
Visit the Donkey Sanctuary
The island roams with donkeys that sadly end by being killed either by cars or dogs. This sanctuary tries to save as many as possible. Visitors have the chance of seeing the and feeding the donkeys for a fee.

Surfing at the Andicuri beach
This place is definitely not good for swimming due to its big waves and strong currents. You might want to bring your camera too if you want to capture some nice seascapes.

Snorkeling at the Baby Beach
The water here never goes deeper than 5 feet, therefore the chance of drowning is nearly non-existent. This is where the Baby Beach comes from in the first place. This beach offers the best snorkeling experience on the island.
